On March 24, 2011, many gathered at the Gat Theatre in Tel Aviv, Israel to celebrate Life and Environment’s (The Israeli Union of environmental NGOs) 8th annual awards ceremony and witness SOURCE CEO Yoki Gil receive the 2011 Green Globe Award.
The star studded event, attracting local celebrities from Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai, to Knesset members, Israeli business stars, media celebrities, and leaders from various environmental organizations, recognized Mr. Gil for his outstanding achievements in environmental activities.
Our company SOURCE Vagabond Systems was started by Mr. Gil over 20 years ago; although we have since expanded, SOURCE still continues to produce a wide selection of functional green products.
Thanks to our CEO’s vision, we pride ourselves on commitment to both our employees and surrounding communities: dedicating 5% of net profits to social and environmental activities. In addition to his commitment to SOURCE, Yoki Gil is also one of the founders and chairman of the Tirat Carmel Community Foundation (TCCF) which constitutes a platform for the community to recognize its civic assets, pool them together, and make decisions about collective priorities, opportunities, and needs that help integrate diverse cultures within the community. He is the drive behind important projects such as Solar Panels on Municipal Buildings and Community Olive Harvesting.
Congratulations Yoki; we are proud to call you our Source!
