What SOURCE Enduro and Olympic Cross Country Rider Noga Korem discovered as a tester for our developers working on the Hipster.
It’s a must to carry hydration along when you’re outdoors doing what you love. In many cases, carrying it on your back isn’t necessarily the smartest choice. The liquid weighs on your shoulders and the pack blocks ventilation of your sweaty back. Meet our latest innovative hydration solution for 2016: The Hipster Hydration Belt.
Tight Fit, No Sliding No Wobbling – No Matter How Full The Bladder Is
“The Hipster doesn’t budge and has a great fit, no matter the amount of liquid in the 1.5Liter/50Oz bladder,” says SOURCE Mountain Biker Noga Korem, who prefers to wear the pack with the removable harness, distributing some weight to the shoulders, and offering a place to conveniently store the hydration tube away.
Thanks to the novel horizontal reservoir design, there’s no sloshing of the water, even when performing jumps and under extreme conditions, Noga states another advantage of the Hipster – a big plus confirmed by Ultra Endurance Runner Roman Spivak, also a tester himself of all stages of the Hipster development (read up on Roman’s experience: Ultra-Running with the Hipster Hydration Belt).

Lightest Solution – Ideal Weight Distribution
As enduro, marathon and cross-country mountain bike rider, she loves carrying the Hipster Hydration Belt for all her 2-5 hour training sessions, when the one bottle on the frame just isn’t enough to stay hydrated. She also used the Hipster in Enduro races, as it hardly adds any weight beyond the actual liquid: “It’s definitely the lightest solution!”
Another outstanding feature is the Hipster’s weight distribution, putting the weight of the pack on the hips, “close to the bodys center of gravity”. Meaning it’s not affecting balance and not putting any strain on the back.
Ample Storage For Gels And Energy Bars
The easily accessible phone pocket and pouches for gels and energy bars finally gave her enough storage for maximum training and race performance. In the back of the Hipster there’s even enough space for a light rain jacket or jersey, in case it’s needed for the downhill part of training. And for those outings in summer heat, when the going gets tough, there’s even a pocket big enough for another bottle of liquid in the back…
The Hipster will be available 2016 in your favorite outdoor & sports shop carrying SOURCE Hydration – and you can be the first to get it in our holiday pre-launch sale here on SourceOutdoor.com
